Rocco was stolen as a cub (baby), he was kept in a tiny metal cage in the back garden.

The cage had no cover,

When it rained, Rocco got wet

When it was hot, Rocco had no shade

When it was windy, Rocco had no protection.

Rocco spent many years caged, locked up and alone, he was very sad and scared, but a great charity called ‘Four Paws’ rescued him, they drove him 1,000 (one thousand) miles, which took 40 hours to his new home in Muritz in north Germany.

Rocco can now play and swim, he is so happy and he loves his new home.

Four Paws is a wonderful charity, they do an amazing job of rescuing helpless animals. They love them all, just like you and me!
